Our three Interact students at lunch today were from the left Alexis, West Allis Hale and Roynold and Leah from Dottke. West Allis Hale is organizing a week of helping in four different days of service--Community Meal Program, Habitat for Humanity Build Day, Urban Ecology Center, and Hands of Hale working on various projects to benefit students and staff. Brent Halfwassen was our program speaker sharing with us his start with Rotary. He first club met in the evening (Amigos). After starting his family, the evening club wasn't as convenient which lead him and his wife to join our club. His career includes developing an Industrial Park in Kindsbury, IN. Brent's father had actually purchased the land before Brent got involved. Brent is a private pilot. He also volunteers for the Coast Guard patrolling Lake Michigan and Superior on week-ends.
